What to expect
Typically follows a massage: the turmeric-rice paste is applied and massaged off as it dries, followed by a cooling yogurt application, a rinse, and a flower-strewn bath with tea served at the tub. Skin comes out noticeably soft; the turmeric tint washes off.
Etiquette & modesty
Disposable underwear provided and worn throughout the scrub; draping continues as in massage. The flower bath is private (or shared for couples bookings). Fine for scrub-shy first-timers — the attendant works around draping.
